Gulf Extrusions has supported the construction of the New Dubai Autism Center Founded in November 2001 with the issuance of a decree from H.H. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Autism Center (DAC) is a non-profit organization based in Dubai (UAE) dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with autism and their families.
Maintaining international standards, the Center provides intervention programs using a holistic approach for children with autism.

The Center also provides information, support, advice and training to professionals and parents of children with autism working towards facilitating a better understanding of autism in the UAE community.

Currently the school is functioning at full capacity providing Individualized educational programs to 46 students with another 270 on the waiting list. There is also a 6 months waiting list for the assessment and diagnosis services in spite the fact that the Center conducts 2-3 assessments per week.
Construction on the new building of the Dubai Autism Cenre is now moving ahead with full steam with an aim to be completed in 2015. Gulf Extrusions is proud to support the construction of the new Dubai Autism Centre by supply of aluminium extrusions for the facade and aluminium works requried for the project. It is noteworthy to mention the support for Emirates Global Aluminium, Jotun, Gutmann and Technical Glass who together with Gulf Extrusions are providing facade solutions and related enabling work for the construction of this benevolent project and initiative by Dubai Autism Centre.
