Mr. Raj is a seasoned and results-oriented professional with an extensive 42-year career in the aluminum manufacturing industry, specifically in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and India regions. As the Indian Region Sales Director at Gulf Extrusions LLC, he plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing sales strategies to drive business expansion across various sectors.
Having joined Gulf Extrusions in 1980 as a quality controller in the QC department, Mr. Raj transitioned to the sales department in 1992, steadily progressing through various roles until assuming the position of Sales Director in 2022.
His long-standing commitment and contributions have been instrumental in the company’s success, making him a key figure in its growth. Mr. Raj has successfully led sales operations, developing and implementing strategies to accelerate sales expansion in GCC and India.
His leadership has been crucial in achieving and exceeding designed sales targets. Known for driving successful process improvement initiatives, Mr. Raj has implemented new controls that eliminated deficiencies in Sales Operations.
His strategic approach to operational efficiency has resulted in cost reduction and significant profit growth. He has designed and successfully implemented strategic business plans, incorporating work plans with clear objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support performance management.
Mr. Raj holds the distinction of being the first person in the company’s history to cross the 15,000 tons mark, consistently achieving impressive annual production figures ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 tons.
Mr. Raj holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Since he joined Gulf Extrusions, Mr. Raj has successfully implemented Sales Operations Management, Process Improvement, and Strategic Planning. With his superior skills and dedication to excellence, Mr. Rajasekharan Kombarath continues to be a driving force in the success and growth of Gulf Extrusions LLC.
