Currently Mr. Wael Al Torshan serves as the Plant Manager at Gulfex, overseeing all operations activities within the plant, including managing multiple production lines. In this role, Wael is responsible for translating company strategy into actionable initiatives by focusing on operations performance, productivity, recovery, and time efficiency, continuous improvement through Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies, and project management.
Wael brings over 25 years of experience in operations management, with a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, project management, and supply chain management. His leadership in managing technical departments and implementing expansion projects has contributed significantly to the company’s success.
With 15 years of experience in the aluminium and glass sector, he is instrumental in advancing our company’s objectives and strengthening our presence in the UAE, GCC, and Africa. Wael is an expert in managing all aspects of production lines, including extrusion, anodizing, and powder coating.
Wael’s extensive industry knowledge, combined with his dedication to continuous improvement and cost-effective operations, has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and operational success.
