Gulf Extrusions Organizational Restructuring & Regional Expansion

As part of Gulf Extrusions continued regional expansion and long-term growth strategy, we are pleased to announce an important evolution in our organizational structure.

Gulf Extrusion has established Gulfex Holding Company, which will serve as the strategic umbrella for the Group’s current and future regional operations.

As of January 2026, Mr. Omar Shegem has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Gulfex Holding, where he will lead the Group’s overall strategic direction and development. In this role, Mr. Shegem will spearhead regional expansion initiatives, including the establishment of new businesses, strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and the development of new companies across key markets

Under the new structure:

• Mr. Sameer Alkhresheh has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Gulfex UAE, where he will continue to drive operational excellence and strengthen market leadership within the UAE and other markets.

• Gulfex Automotive and Industries, formerly known as APT, will operate under the strategic oversight of Gulfex Holding to further enhance the Group’s presence in automotive and industrial fabrication sectors.

• Gulfex Holding Company will oversee the performance, growth, and strategic alignment of all subsidiary entities.

This restructuring represents a significant milestone in Gulfex Group’s journey, positioning the organization for greater agility, stronger governance, and an expanded regional footprint. It enables the Group to pursue ambitious growth beyond traditional markets, with a strong focus on automotive and industrial integration.

Both Gulfex UAE and Gulfex Holding have an exciting pipeline of initiatives that will further strengthen our competitive position and support our vision of achieving regional leadership and sustainable growth.

Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company and Gulf Extrusions LLC signed a cooperation agreement in the local, regional and international markets to foster integration between the two companies to provide all types of materials required from the currently existing extrusion products, which contain 12 extrusion lines of different sizes and with the highest quality of production, with a total capacity of 145 MT, in addition to other service lines of painting, anodizing, etc.

Note that one of the most important goals of this cooperation is to meet the goals of Vision 2030 through existing factories or establishing any future facilities that are compatible with the goals of the vision and market requirements, as well as opening greater horizons for localize industries in local markets through expansion of manufacturing operations in addition to targeting different global markets.

Gulf Extrusions, one of the largest Aluminium Extrusions companies in Dubai and UAE, has marked the occasion of the UAE’s 52nd National Day with a packed programme of activities on 29th November, bringing together its vibrant community of employees and management as they honour the spirit of the union and national achievements.

Lights, decorations and flags have been installed along the company’s passages, parking area, departments and offices to mark this dear occasion. Senior management and staff from different walks of life, all gathered to celebrate the UAE National Day.

In an action-packed presentation where all departments could be hugely proud of their efforts, various departments in Operations have been visited by management and appreciated for their creativity, time and effort spent to decorate their offices and work stations with UAE Flags, photographs, creative ideas and designs which expressed their happiness of this precious occasion.

All employees enjoyed the presentations and cheered the teams in this fun-filled interactive and memorable activity.

With the spirit of hospitality and togetherness, the UAE National Day celebration gave everyone in attendance a truly memorable day with our employees who have played a major part in Gulf Extrusions continuous growth and outstanding successes.

They had the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, forge new connections, and gain valuable insights that underscore our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry excellence.

With the arrival of the flu season, Gulf Extrusions, a subsidiary of Al Ghurair Group, in collaboration with MetLife Gulf and Aster DM Healthcare organized Anti-Flu Campaign for employees on 10th October 2023.

The campaign, hosted at Gulfex Dubai premises, received an outstanding response from our employees who availed themselves of the opportunity to receive flu vaccinations.

The foremost objective of this initiative was to emphasize the significance of obtaining an annual flu shot, as it stands as the most efficient method of shielding oneself against seasonal influenza. Furthermore, it plays a pivotal role in curbing the dissemination of the virus within one’s personal circle. Safeguarding oneself and the community at large lies at the core of the Anti-Flu Campaign’s ethos.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to MetLife Gulf and Aster DM Healthcare for their invaluable collaboration in organizing the Anti-Flu Campaign and Vaccination Drive, which greatly contributed to its success.
